DPS Tapi gears up for online classes during the Covid-19 / Coronavirus pandemic

The whole world is on lockdown mode. As April 2020 approaches, India enters its most critical phase of the Covid-19 / Coronavirus pandemic. It is mandatory to stay indoors to remain safe.

Students are totally unused to being grounded at home and find themselves in the unusual condition of actually longing to get back to school to reunite with friends and meet favourite teachers again. But it may take another month or two before it is safe to venture out of doors.

DPS Tapi shut down school for all staff on Saturday 21 March 2020, after a thorough cleansing and disinfecting of the buildings and campus as a precautionary measure. Thereafter, the staff have been busy virtually networking and learning to create Google classrooms and content for these. They are doing their level best for their students, as always. The DPS Tapi Team hopes to keep the students engaged and learning during some part of the day, so that their time is spent productively and creatively.

We hope and pray earnestly that our DPST Family of Staff, Students and Parents come safely through this unique lifetime challenge and we can meet again at school in the near future. In the meantime, our DPST Learning Partnership goes Virtual Online.

Stay safe, stay cheerful, and above all – keep learning. We will win and good times will return!
