News Flash from Tapi Tarang 2017-18

Delhi Public School Tapi celebrated the 70th anniversary of Independence and 75th anniversary of Quit India Movementon 15 August 2017. The students took the Sankalp pledge for a Swachh Bharat, free from terrorism, corruption and other evils. The importance of women’s liberation for true freedom was evoked through classical dance. A short skit was presented on the importance of the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement in India’s freedom struggle. Patriotic speeches and songs marked this special occasion.

Pre-Nursery – Class V students also celebrated Independence Week from 8-11 August through Tiranga Fancy Dress, speeches on the contribution of martyrs to the motherland, sweets and general information on the significance of Independence.
