DPS Tapi currently offers a choice between Gujarati and Sanskrit as third language for Classes IV-VIII. While Gujarati is the state language, Sanskrit is the original from which many modern Indian languages are derived and the grammatical and phonetic structure of Sanskrit is studied by experts across the world. Don’t you agree that students should get an opportunity to study both these important languages? We are just taking an informal survey of whether our students can study Gujarati for some years and Sanskrit for the remaining years, thus covering the basics of both.
